Mumbles RFC is a community rugby club based in the village of Mumbles, Swansea with teams at every age group from U7s to U16s in addition to 2 Men’s Senior Sides, a Youth and a Senior Ladies’ Team.

Langland Bay Golf Club
There are great views and there are great golf courses, rarely do they come together with such perfection as they do at Langland Bay. Affiliated with Pebble Beach Resorts, Monterey, California, the course is positioned high above the golden Gower sand on a cliff top clearly designed by nature with only one purpose in mind, breath taking golf. With ocean views from 15 of our 18 Holes, the elevation brings 360-degree views, across the spectacular Bristol Channel in one direction, and the distant Brecon Beacons in the other.

Established 1938

Sailing takes place in the safety of Swansea Bay which is situated at the start of the Gower Peninsula

Bristol Channel Yacht Club
Established in 1875, the BCYC was the first yacht club to be established in the Bristol Channel and hosted many prestigious and royal regattas. More recently the Club has collaborated with other local yacht clubs to host World, European and National regattas.
In 2025 the Club will be commemorating its 150th anniversary with a number of on and off the water celebrations

Mumbles Bowls Club
The Mumbles Bowls Green, which was recently refurbished in conjunction with Mumbles Community Council, is home to Mumbles Bowls Club (founded 1998), who play in the Swansea Bowling Association League Division 2.

Oystermouth Bowls Club
The Mumblers Bowls Green, which was recently refurbished in conjunction with Mumbles Community Council, is home to Oystermouth Bowls Club (founded 2022), who play in the Swansea Bowling Association League - Division 1.

Newton Athletic FC
Newton Athletic FC has a FAW Silver Accreditation and compete in the Swansea Junior, Youth and Senior Leagues. With teams in most age groups from ages 4 to Seniors, the club ethos is to provide opportunities for all abilities to play football in a safe and friendly environment, in which all its members feel valued and supported.

Mumbles Petanque Club
Mumbles Pétanque Club began in 2024 and in March 2025, took the step of forming a committee and officially affiliating with the Welsh Pétanque Association.
Today, we’re proud to be an established club, welcoming players of all levels to share in the fun, camaraderie, and friendly competition that define pétanque!
We welcome players of all ages and abilities to come and join us for a game.
