From Frustration to Mumbles.Life

If you live in Mumbles, you’ll know this feeling.

You hear after the fact that there was live music on last night.

You spot photos online from a market you didn’t know was happening.

A friend mentions a club, class or event and you think, “I wish I’d known about that.”

That was us — more than once.

We’ve always loved living in Mumbles. The coast, the community, the independent businesses, the events that pop up in halls, pubs, churches and cafés. There’s so much going on here… and yet, somehow, it often felt surprisingly hard to find out about it all in one place.

Everything was scattered.

Different Facebook pages.

Posters in windows you might not walk past.

Word of mouth — if you happened to speak to the right person at the right time.

And one day, we said it out loud:

“Why isn’t there a single place where you can just see what’s going on in Mumbles?”

That question is where Mumbles.Life began.

Not as a big business plan.

Not as a tech project.

Just as a simple idea born out of everyday frustration — and a genuine love for the village we call home.

We wanted something that worked at the touch of a button. Somewhere locals, visitors and businesses could all connect. A place where you could discover a live band, a family event, a faith gathering, a sports fixture, a new café, a market, or a hidden gem along the cliffs — without having to search ten different places.

So we built it.

Mumbles.Life is our way of bringing the whole of Mumbles together online — residents, visitors, venues, clubs, artists, makers and businesses — all in one welcoming space. It’s designed to celebrate everything that makes this coastal community so vibrant, creative and alive.

Whether you’re:

popping out for a coffee and want to know what else is happening nearby
new to the area and finding your feet
visiting Mumbles for the weekend
or you’ve lived here your whole life

our goal is the same:

to make it easier for everyone to enjoy the very best of Mumbles.

This isn’t about glossy recommendations or telling people where they should go. It’s about connection. About helping local businesses be seen. About giving community groups and organisers a platform. About making sure brilliant things don’t go unnoticed.

We’re especially passionate about celebrating the everyday magic of Mumbles — the small events, the local heroes, the places you walk past every day but maybe haven’t stepped into yet.

Mumbles.Life will keep growing, evolving and improving — shaped by the people who use it. If something’s missing, we want to know. If you’re running an event, a club, a business or a project, we want to help share it. If you’ve discovered something special, we’d love to highlight it.

This platform exists for one simple reason:
